The Abroad Guide is the blog that tells you everything you need to know about studying abroad. Where to go, what to do, what NOT to do, and much more.
Each post is written by authors who know their stuff. They’ve either studied, volunteered, lived, or worked abroad (some of them have even done all four) and know the ups and downs of cities around the world and how to get the most out of your experience.
Creator and Editor, Jessica Dante
Jess studied abroad in Antwerp, Belgium in Fall 2009 and immediately caught the travel bug. After graduating from James Madison University in May 2011, she took the road less traveled and moved to Florence, Italy where she lived and worked until December 2012 (you can check out her Italy blog You’ll Find Me in Florence). During her time in Florence, she met and traveled with hundreds of American study abroad students and came to learn that, like her, they had had tons of pre-departure questions that they couldn’t find answers to. After her time in Italy, Jess started The Abroad Guide as a way to pass along her knowledge of all things study abroad and help other students have the best semester (or year) of their lives!
She now lives in London and you can check out her new life as an expat on her blog Love and London.
